Your Kitchen Garden Starts with a Consultation
In order to ensure that your garden will thrive, we start with an on-site consultation ($150) so that we can evaluate your site conditions, learn about your goals, and determine the size, layout, and materials that will be used during construction. If you are more of a visual person, we can also create a photoshop style rendering of your future garden so that you can see exactly how the final product will look.

All of our kitchen gardens are designed and built to exceed USDA Organic Standards.
With both longevity and sustainability in mind, our standard raised garden beds are constructed with naturally rot and pest resistant Eastern Cedar lumber - the gold standard for organic gardening. Each bed is structurally reinforced to last for years, and for your health, no treated lumber is used. We fill each bed with organic garden soil, and include one garden coaching session with every installation.

Custom Archways & Trellises
These dreamy additions create an instant outdoor garden ‘room’ and entryway, and are the perfect place for vines like tomatoes or cucumbers to climb. By maximizing vertical space, you can actually grow more in your garden too! We source durable wrought iron archways and can custom build trellises out of whichever quality materials make the most sense for your garden.

Crushed Slate Base Layer
We highly recommend adding a base around your garden whether it is with crushed slate, pea gravel, or mulch. Not only does it add to the aesthetic of the space but also keeps your garden tidy and approachable and reduces maintenance by eliminating the need to mow and weed around the garden beds.

Stacked Stone or Corten Steel Construction
Although eastern cedar raised beds are our most common option, you may be ready to build a legacy garden that will last a lifetime. Both Stone and Corten Steel add an elegance that will make a statement in your landscape. These materials also allow for more creative and custom shapes, like the curved stone bed featured in our portfolio. If you are interested in other materials to match the aesthetic of your home, we can explore those options too.

Automated Drip Irrigation
Consistent irrigation is necessary for an abundant garden especially in our climate, and we find automated drip irrigation to be most successful. Drip Irrigation is a sustainable, water conscious mechanism for keeping your plants happy and productive. The automated system we install is linked with your local radar, so it will not waste water when rain is on the radar. In dry weeks, drip irrigation provides a consistent source of water at the soil level without getting your plant wet and creating the environment for disease.

Don’t let a busy life deter you from having a garden. We offer weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly garden maintenance and harvest plans depending on your needs. Using organic gardening practices, our professional gardeners will make sure you have a year-round harvest! Just need help with the heavy lifting? We can also do twice a year plantings and soil amendments. Our custom plans will set you up for garden success. *Irrigation is required for our maintenance clients.
